Ursuline Sister Joseph Angela Boone was honored Aug. 23 by having a new lodge at the Gasper River Catholic Youth Camp & Retreat Center dedicated in her name during Mass. Sister Joseph Angela was chancellor of the Diocese of Owensboro from 1989-2011, and was named as co-founder of the camp near Bowling Green when the land was purchased eight years ago. Boone Lodge will allow the camp to house more groups at one time.
