Ursuline Sister Michele Morek was a speaker at the Healthy Foods, Local Farms conference on Oct. 12 in Louisville, Ky. Following that speech, she was interviewed for La Vida Local, a Louisville Internet radio show, hosted by food writers Sarah Fritschner and Phyllis Fitzgerald. The show talks about local food and other products, how to bring more local food into the Louisville area, how to use it in creative and healthy ways, and how to promote sustainability. Sister Michele talks about the problem of wasting food in this interview.
