Community Days July 12-14, 2016

Community Days each year gives the Ursuline Sisters serving across the country an opportunity to come home to Maple Mount for a few days to visit with each other and to discuss community business. Here are some photos from Community Days on July 12-14, 2016, which were held at the Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center.     Good to see so many of your smiling faces. I remember those community days from not so long ago. Have a good year as you go back to your various ministries.

    Our family moved from Owensboro in 1998…but it’s always so good to see the many familiar faces of our loved Ursulines.. remembering fondly the many years we had with you while in Kentucky….hope to get back for a visit some day soon…

    I see Sister Diana Ortiz in a picture here, sitting at the table with a cup in front of her. She taught my sons at Immaculate Conception in Hawesville, KY 1981-88.
    Is there any way you can contact her for me?
    My sons adored her, and she was a frequent guest along with SisterKathy and Sister Martha at our house.
    Many fond memories.
    We moved to Houston, and recently retired back to IN. She has been on my mind and in my prayers. She would remember Matthew and Michael McDowell!
