Christmas carols could be heard in the hallways of Saint Joseph Villa on the morning of Dec. 19, 2024. About a dozen staff members from the Diocese of Owensboro came to Mount Saint Joseph to spread some Christmas cheer. They put on festive hats or headbands and sang a few songs in all three hallways, which including “Silent Night” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” Two staff members played guitars, while two others had jingle bell tambourines. They spent a little time visiting with the Ursuline Sisters who came out into the halls to listen. Other Sisters enjoyed hearing the music while inside their rooms.
