Sister Amelia Stenger picked a bucket of cherries June 9 from the trees growing on the grounds of Mount Saint Joseph and several of the sisters at the Motherhouse came together June 10 to pit them, along with other cherries already picked, so Sister Grace Swift could make them into jams and jellies.
