Associates and Sisters Day offers a chance to “Find God in Our Everyday Lives,” welcomes five new Associates

Five women made their commitments as Ursuline Associates on June 17, 2017, and nearly 100 Ursuline Sisters and Associates learned about “Finding God in Our Everyday Lives” during the annual Associates and Sisters Day.

The keynote speaker was Father Ben Brown, a priest of the Archdiocese of Louisville who was taught by Ursuline Sisters in grade school. The afternoon featured a commitment ceremony, a panel discussion, a chance to learn about the sisters celebrating jubilees through a trivia competition, and some wonderful videos and music. The day was held in the gymnasium at Maple Mount.

Below are pictures from the day.

My husband and I really enjoyed our trip to Kentucky to be with all the sisters and the Associates. Renewing old friendships, and having a wonderful time. The food was delicious as always, and we always enjoy visiting with the sisters. We really enjoyed Fr. Ben Browns speech and singing, listening to the panels, and just chatting with friend. I plan to read the Ursuline website everyday so I can win Dan’s trivia contest next year. Yes, indeed, it was a very spiritual and fulfilling weekend. We are looking forward to seeing you next year, and maybe going to Italy with all of you.
