Alumnae Weekend 2014

A wonderful crowd of alumnae from Mount Saint Joseph Academy and Junior College gathered at Maple Mount on May 18 for the annual Alumnae Weekend. The members shared memories, elected officers, celebrated Mass and then enjoyed the annual banquet, which featured the naming of two new winners of the Maple Leaf Award.

Every year since 2000, at least two graduates of the Academy or Junior College have received the Maple Leaf Award, given to those who “personify the values of their Mount Saint Joseph education in contributions to their local faith communities, civic communities and/or Mount Saint Joseph.” The winners for 2014 were Sally Murphy Buford, A64, and Betty Rumage Bickett, A49.

    Enjoyed the day even though there were only 3 from my Class of ’54. The music for Mass, food, decorations and meeting with friends was great. The committee did a fine job . God Bless You All………
