The 2015-17 Spiritual Direction Training Program class met for the second time during the week of Jan. 11-15, 2016, at the Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center. Completion of the eight-week course results in certification as a trained spiritual director.

Each course of Spiritual Direction Training is a 2 year program of contemplative spiritual direction training which includes required readings, assignments and verbatim reports of direction sessions. Each student is expected to be engaged in directing other persons, as well as receiving spiritual direction while in the program. Peer supervision is a key element of the learning process.
