Eight people attended the study of the catechism of the Catholic Church on May 9 at the Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center, as part of the Year of Faith. Discussion began on Sister Thea Bowman, a member of Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration who spoke out on the Church’s need to better serve people of African-American descent. Her life was studied in relation to the paschal mystery. The next session is June 13 at 10:30 a.m.
Here are some photos from the day.
