Ursuline Sister Cheryl Clemons shared the spirituality of Caryll Houselander with more than 20 women on March 25-27 during her annual Women’s Retreat at the Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center.
Titled “We Are the Body of Christ,” the retreat focused on the 20th-century English mystic who developed an appealing spirituality accessible to all seekers of Truth. The models Houselander offers are Mary, who gave Jesus to the world, and Jesus, who shows us how to be human transformed by grace.
