We always have reason to stand in awe.

In Saint  Angela’s second counsel we read, ” we always have reason to stand in awe.”   Have you every really taken these words to heart?   Do you encounter awesome people, awesome situations, awesome opportunities on a daily basis?

I do believe that with mindfulness and attentive listening we can experience the awesomeness of God’s hand numerous times throughout our day.

Presently, we are experiencing the powerful actions of  Super Storm Sandy that has caused devastation over the United States East Coast,  Jamaica, Cuba and many other areas.   Unfortunately, some things that happen can be awesome in a negative way.

Today, however, there is a reason to stand in awe as we watch many united in an effort to reach out to others in need.   This is a  powerful reason to stand in awe.
