Have you always wanted the chance to ask an Ursuline Sister a question about her life, or visit the beautiful grounds at Maple Mount? At 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 8, the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph are hosting a tour of the property and a chance to meet with some sisters to talk about their lives. This open house is part of a global celebration of 2015 being designated the “Year of Consecrated Life” by Pope Francis.
This day is open to everyone. An inside tour will be followed by a question and answer session with some sisters. Refreshments will be available, as well as a chance to visit the Gift Shop. Guests are welcome to stay for Eucharistic Adoration that begins at 4 p.m. in the Chapel. The Motherhouse is at 8001 Cummings Road, about 12 miles west of Owensboro along Kentucky 56.
