Storm downs limbs at Maple Mount; major damage avoided

A storm that brought heavy winds and dropped 2. 2 inches of rain caused numerous limbs to fall at Maple Mount on the morning of June 29, 2023, but no trees fell. Only part of the campus was without power in the morning.

A large limb blocked the entrance to Lourdes Hall, and several limbs blocked passage on the Rosary Walk. There were several limbs down in the Mount park as well. Here are some photos.

    Just f0und these photos on July 4. I heard about that wind and am betting Ray got some of the limbs for his walking sticks. So much damage but so thankful none of the buildings were damaged by trees falling in them. Soo thankful no one was injured.
