The first week-long session of the new Spiritual Direction Training class took place Oct. 26-30, 2015 at Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center. The nine participants are from Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Indiana, Illinois and Iowa. Five women, one of them an Ursuline Sister of Cleveland, and four men are in the group. They will attend eight week-long sessions over the next two years in order to receive a certificate in spiritual direction. There was also a four-member coordinating team present this week: Sister Ann McGrew and Sister Elaine Burke, both Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph; Monica Armstrong and Deacon Victor Fromm.
