Sixth Grade Prayer Day–May 2019

Sixth-graders from the Owensboro (Ky.) Catholic Schools 4-6 Campus came to Mount Saint Joseph on May 7, 2019, for their annual day of prayer. Ursuline Associate Bonnie Marks – a sixth-grade teacher at the school – makes sure to bring the students each May before they head to middle school in the fall.

The students break into four groups and rotate among stations. They each go on a scavenger hunt to learn about some saints, travel the Rosary Walk with an Ursuline Sister, do an arts and craft project, and listen to a priest talk about vocations. At 11:15 a.m., the students all gathered in the Motherhouse Chapel for Mass. Here are some photos from the day.
