Saint Nicholas came to visit the Ursuline Sisters at Maple Mount for breakfast on the morning of his feast day, Dec. 6, bringing best wishes and some baskets of fruit and candy. The only sister conspicuously absent at breakfast was Sister Mary Jude Cecil. In tradition, Saint Nicholas was the beginning of the legend of Santa Claus because he gave money and gifts to the poor. Saint Nicholas is the patron saint of children. Saint Nicholas pray for us.
