The first Greater Owensboro Music Camp — which most everyone eventually called Music at Maple Mount — began in 1975. In June 2024, we will celebrate the 50th year since that first camp by inviting everyone who participated to a reunion weekend. This reunion is part of the celebration year recognizing 150 years since the Ursuline Sisters arrived in what is now known as Maple Mount.
The reunion will occur the second weekend of June, but the exact dates are awaiting the input of our camp alumni. Would you prefer a welcome back reception on Friday, June 7, activities on June 8 and a final concert on Sunday afternoon, June 9? Or would you prefer starting on Thursday, June 6, and having the final concert on Saturday night, June 8? The sooner you let us know, the sooner we will set those dates.
