Over the years at Mount Saint Joseph in both the archives and museum a great effort has been made to gather records and artifacts. When visiting with other archivists they often note that sisters are well known for their excellent record keeping practices. Through the years things get moved from here to there and someone meant to return something or tell someone of this being placed there. As we are all human, sometimes this does not happen. Just the other week a box of artifacts was found in St. Angela Hall. These items were probably taken from the museum and used for an exhibit. In conjunction with the Belleville artifacts post, I give you some samples of Mount Saint Joseph artifacts.
