Immaculate Parish in Owensboro held an appreciation event for the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph and the Sisters of the Lamb of God on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013. The sisters were present for an hour of Eucharistic Adoration, followed by an evening prayer service, and then a dinner in the parish hall. During the service, the Ursuline Sisters sang the “Magnificat.”
Several of the Ursuline Sisters taught at The Immaculate School when it was still open, including Sister Margaret Ann Aull, who now serves as the coordinator of pastoral care for Immaculate. Immaculate is the home parish for the Sisters of The Lamb of God, many of whom volunteer in various ways at the church.
