A question from Jenny: How do you know God is calling you? 
Jenny, there have been many people who have wondered about this question and I have responded to many young women who have the same question. There could be some who argue that you hear what you want to hear, but I sincerely believe that when you turn to God in prayer you are opening your heart to listen. God is always willing to speak to us, and if we have an attitude of welcome and openness, I think it is good and fertile soil to hear what God has planted on our heart. I am convinced that God’s plan is not different from our own heart’s desire most of the time. I think another way you recognize God in your response is a peaceful and joyful spirit. I know that sometimes I keep asking God, and God is very persistent in pursuing us. Continue to ask questions and be open to discover God is always the answer.
