About 30 people attended the Father Paul Volk Retreat on Aug. 22, 2015, at the Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center. Sister Ruth Gehres and Sister Marietta Wethington help relate the tremendous impact Father Volk had on the lives of countless people in Kentucky and South America. It was Father Volk who asked the Ursuline Sisters of Louisville to send sisters to what became Maple Mount to start Mount Saint Joseph Academy in 1874. Here are pictures from the day.
