This daylong program is open to both men and women who wish to grow in their relationship with God, improve the quality of their relationships with others, and live a more peaceful and serene life.
The presentation will include what forgiveness is and is not; our human need for and experiences of forgiveness; reasons why people often find forgiveness difficult, and suggestions for moving into a fuller Christian life characterized by a forgiving heart.
The day will include three sessions: exploring issues related to forgiving ourselves, forgiving others, and forgiving God. Each session will include time for personal prayer and reflection as well as small-group sharing. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available. Participants are invited to stay for a 4:30 p.m. Saturday vigil Mass in the Motherhouse Chapel.
The program facilitator for this in-person event is Ursuline Sister Cheryl Clemons, a certified spiritual director. She has been offering retreats, parish missions and RCIA programs for over 25 years.
The $40 fee includes lunch.
