A group of high school students and a team of parish and school leaders stayed at Mount Saint Joseph June 23-28, 2013 for the annual Christian Leadership Institute. A majority of their activities took place at Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center. The retreat was organized by Melinda Prunty, director of the Office of Youth Ministry for the Diocese of Owensboro, Ky. Also in attendance was Father Ryan Harpole, a priest/spiritual director.
CLI is a week-long leadership training experience for those who have completed at least their freshman year of high school through just graduated seniors. It provides a way for young people to discover their God-given talents and to find ways to use them in their parishes, schools and communities.
