Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph and friends gathered at 6 p.m. on Jan. 13 at the St. Ursula Community Room in the Motherhouse at Maple Mount for their weekly Centering Prayer. Half the room is kept in darkness as Sister Marie Julie Fecher calls those who are gathered to “go to your inner room to pray,” and then plays peaceful recorded music.
