Those interested in meeting the challenges of evangelizing in a multicultural Catholic Church came to the Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center on June 6-8, 2017, for a “Building Intercultural Competency for Ministers” workshop.
Pastors, women religious, school leaders, social justice ministers and diocesan officials were among those taking part in the workshop in Conference Room A of the Retreat Center. The workshop meets the requirements of the Diocese of Owensboro’s Pastoral Plan to “provide ongoing education for priests to advance a greater understanding of cultural diversity and integration.”
