About 150 incoming freshmen at Brescia University, as well as faculty and peer leaders in the BU 101 courses, visited Mount Saint Joseph on Aug. 23 to learn about the history and relationship between the Ursuline Sisters and Brescia.
“This is our home,” said Father Larry Hostetter, president of Brescia, while making introductory remarks in the Motherhouse Chapel. “This is where we derive the Brescia difference.”
Sister Sharon Sullivan, congregational leader of the Ursuline Sisters and the former academic dean at Brescia, said visiting the Mount gives the students “a chance for you to add us to your family tree.”
