Bishop William Medley of the Diocese of Owensboro came to Mount Saint Joseph Oct. 24, 2012 for his annual anointing of the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph. About 35 people were in attendance. Last year Father Ray Goetz, Mount Saint Joseph Motherhouse chaplain, helped the bishop with the anointing. However, Father Ray recently fell and had to be hospitalized for knee surgery. Bishop Medley joked that Father Ray would do anything to get out of work, and then he asked for prayers for Father Ray as he began the 11 a.m. prayer service.
