Sisters begin Acts 2:42 gatherings as part of Eucharistic Revival

Catholics across the Diocese of Owensboro are beginning year two of the National Eucharistic Revival by participating in monthly small groups called Acts 2:42, a reference to, “They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to the communal life, to the breaking of the bread and to the prayers.”

While the nine months of gatherings are geared toward parishes, the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph who live or serve at Maple Mount are also breaking into small groups to take part in Acts 2:42. There are five groups of Sisters who will meet, with the first two sharing the Rainbow Room at Saint Joseph Villa on Sept. 6, 2023.

Here are some photos from the first day. Three more groups were scheduled to have their first meeting on Sept. 8 in the Saint Ursula Conference Room.
