The message of Easter is that Christ is risen! Within that message shouts numerous lessons and good news! We learn that God can always bring new life from what appears to be dead. We learn that God can bring hope out of despair. We learn that God can radiate joy from a situation in what hatred seems to reign. We learn that God can bring about change when things seem stuck or destined to remain the same. We learn that God can renew the face of the earth with peace even in the midst of war. The message of Easter comes at a time when believers have stepped back to examine and recommit to a life of hope. Easter comes at a time when seekers have spoken words of recommitment to baptismal promises. Easter is a reminder that Christ comes into our lives on a daily basis. Let us make a special effort to look and be aware of the Risen Christ who fulfills our longings for an eternal spring!
