Year of Faith Session 7

The study of the U.S. Catholic Catechism for Adults on Aug. 8 focused on Saint Juan Diego, a Mexican man who lived a simple life and was devoted to daily Mass. In 1531, Juan Diego saw a woman who told him she was the Virgin Mary and to build a church on the site. After proving his vision was true, the church was built and Our Lady of Guadalupe was declared the patroness of the Americas.

The next session during this Year of Faith will be Sept. 12, from 10:30-12:30. Lunch is included. Here are some pictures from the Aug. 8 session.
