Sister Marcella Schrant was honored for her 70th anniversary of religious life on Oct. 18, 2015, at St. John the Evangelist Church in Lawrence, Kan., where she ministered for seven years. She also spent another 10 years in Lawrence as a receptionist at the St. Lawrence Catholic Campus Center at the University of Kansas.
