Sister Angela was so kind and welcoming to me when i first went to Brescia College. Id never been to Kentucky! Sister Angela and I discovered we had birthdays only a week apart! I have very fond memories of Sister Angela; may she rest in peace

She was my supporter during my years at Brescia always supporting me and pushing me harder! And a lot of fun when we would have pizza at our dorm off campus! She truly was a shining star and never backed away from a challenge.

Sister Joseph Angela was an outstanding religious sister of the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph. I will always remember her along with so many of the Dedicated Sister who taught at Brescia College when I attended the college from August, 1966 to December, 1970. The sisters were ALL very remarkable instructors. May Sister Joseph Angela enjoy her eternal happiness along with Sr. Rose Francis Mahoney, Sr. Mary Cecilia Payne, and Sr. Marguerite Younker to name a few wonderful educators.

May Sister Joseph Angela rest in
the arms of Jesus and his loving mother Mary.

Sr. JA was balanced in her family life, her faith life, her work life, her Ursuline life and her social (fun) life. Always quick with a solution, a prayer or a humorous quip. She was a smart, perceptive and holy woman. I will miss her much.
