Oh what fond memories of Sister Jane Miriam, my first grade teacher in 1949 at Sts. Joseph and Paul Parish. I so vividly remember the building as it was located right next to St. Joseph’s Church next to sacristy. It later became the convent and today I think it has been torn down…We Monarch boys always were serving Mass and good old Monsignor Braun was the pastor…strict but loveable…Sister Jane will always be remembered by me until someday I’ll join her in heaven.
