Ursuline Sister Marietta Wethington said Saint Angela Merici’s message in 16th century Italy is still relevant to us today, as she presented “Angela, A Woman for All Times” at the March 1, 2016, “Evening with an Ursuline” dinner and presentation. Saint Angela was the founder of the Ursuline Sisters in Brescia, Italy. The presentation occurred in Conference Room D of the Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center.
The next “Evening with an Ursuline” is April 5, with Sister Ruth Gehres discussing “Chile: An Ursuline Adventure.” The Ursuline Sisters began ministering in Chile 50 years ago, and continue to serve there today. Dinner is at 5 p.m., with the presentation following.
