The mystics invite us to see that the spiritual journey is not about a constant striving for perfection as much as it is about letting go in order to be received in love. Can we accept God’s continual call to our hearts to step into the cloud of unknowing where we are not in control and God is? This retreat will help us to live into and embrace the awesome Mystery that cannot and need not be solved, but can be and need be surrendered to. In this process we can find ourselves surprised by joy, enlarged by acceptance, humbled in wonder, dedicated in dryness, refreshed and recreated in rest, and above all unconditionally received in love. Not because of how we have loved God, but because of how God has loved us!
