Join us on Friday, November 5, in the McRaith Catholic Center (lower level) for “A Day of Joy: Celebrating the Gifts of our Later Years.” It will be a day of inspiration, humor, music, prayer and fellowship as we consider God’s invitation to see aging as an adventure for our body, mind and soul. Presentations during the day will engage and challenge our hearts and minds.
The Diocese of Owensboro is sponsoring this event, in collaboration with the Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center. The topics and speakers for the day include:
- The Chronologically Advantaged – Tom Lilly, Chancellor and Chief Administrative Officer, Diocese of Owensboro
- Aging As a Soul Adventure – Maryann Joyce, Director, Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center
- Engaging with the Church – Valeria Vessels, Director, Stewardship & Development, Diocese of Owensboro
