Alumnae

Mount Saint Joseph Academy was founded on August 14, 1874 in Maple Mount, Ky. In 1925, the Ursuline Sisters continued their dedication to education and opened Mount Saint Joseph Junior College for Women. The junior college location was transferred to Owensboro in 1950 where it became co-educational and changed its name to Brescia College (now Brescia University). Mount Saint Joseph Academy closed in 1983 after 109 years of service. Alumnae are welcome to visit Mount Saint Joseph anytime and are cordially invited to the annual Alumnae Reunion Weekend and Memorial Mass organized by the Alumnae Association.
