MSJ Mission Advancement Department Moves into New Home on Campus May 26, 2016

For 15 years, St. Angela Hall has been the home of the office of Mission Advancement. That came to an end on May 26, 2016, when the offices left the 103-year-old building and moved to the third floor of Lourdes Hall. The offices in Mission Advancement are Development, Ursuline Partnerships (Associates and Alumnae) and Communications. St. Angela Hall will find a new purpose in its future.

Here are some pictures of moving day.

Spencer Hayden, with Pat Hayden Moving, helps move a desk out of Kris Mango’s office in St. Angela Hall. Construction of the building began in 1913, and it has served many roles through the years, including the home for those attending the Mount Saint Joseph Junior College from 1925-1950.
Movers roll a desk out of the building onto the porch, and prepare to load it on a truck to move to Lourdes Hall. The Ursuline leadership Council had their offices in St. Angela Hall beginning in 1950. The upper two floors were residences for sisters.
The movers filled this truck with furniture and boxes, and half of another truck.
Movers bring a desk into the new Ursuline Partnerships office in Lourdes Hall, as Sister Amelia Stenger helps direct them. The wing that was renovated was built in 1928.
