Mount Saint Joseph Welcomes Visitors from Dubois County, Ind., September 15, 2016

Members of St. Isidore Parish in Dubois County, Ind., visited Mount Saint Joseph on Sept, 15, 2016, as part of a bus tour around Owensboro. Ursuline Sister George Mary Hagan gave them a tour of the Motherhouse Chapel, the craft room, the archives and the Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center.

St. Isidore is the result of the merging of two parishes, St. Celestine and St. Raphael. This is the eighth bus trip members of the parish have taken this year, said Clara Fromme, who organized the trip. Earlier in the day they visited St. Stephen Cathedral and the International Bluegrass Museum in Owensboro, then following Maple Mount they were heading to Reid’s Orchard. Here are some pictures from their visit.

This is great . . . I hope there’s a way to send this page to the St. Isidore group . . . so they can remember (again) their visit to the Mount!
