Sarah Patterson sees daily the many fascinating items housed in Mount Saint Joseph Archives. As the community archivist for the past three years, she wanted to share those items with the sisters and employees on campus.

The first Archives open house was from 1-3 p.m. Oct. 24, and a good turnout graced the first floor of Lourdes Hall, where Archives moved four years ago.

“I wanted to show off the records we have that the sisters don’t often get to see,” Sarah said. “Since the mergers, even sisters who’ve seen the Mount Saint Joseph archives may not have seen the Belleville and Paola records. I want to make it an annual event.”
