The Year of Consecrated Life

Pope Francis has called for 2015 to be the “Year of Consecrated Life.” This “year” actually lasts from the beginning of Advent on Nov. 29-30, 2014, until Feb. 2, 2016, the World Day of Consecrated Life. Twice a week during these 62 weeks, the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph will feature a different sister’s vocation story. Click here to learn more.

An Ignatian Retreat

A silent retreat based on the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius Loyola will be offered March 6-8 and will allow participants to take time to dwell in the unchanging reality that we are loved just as we are, to listen to the call of God and God’s hopes for us and to respond more deeply from our hearts. Get Moving at the Mount! 5K Run/Walk

Do you want to race a sister? Join us on May 3o, for the Get Moving at the Mount! 5K Run/Walk. This is a “fun run” put on by the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph and is an event the whole family can participate in. Register here!

Monica Armstrong, a graduate of the Spiritual Direction Training Program at Maple Mount who has studied Ignatian spirituality for 25 years, will lead a silent retreat based on the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius Loyola. Saint Ignatius founded the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), in whose footsteps our beloved Pope Francis walks.

Eucharistic AdorationMarch 8, 2015

Where: Motherhouse Chapel
The Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph are asking the public to join them for Eucharistic Adoration on the second Sunday of every month to pray for vocations. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will occur from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Motherhouse Chapel in Maple Mount, 8001 Cummings Road. The adoration will conclude with evening prayer with the Ursuline Sisters. Those who cannot come to the Mount for Eucharistic Adoration are asked to pray during that time for new members to hear the call to the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph.
