Where: Mount Saint Joseph in Maple Mount, KYThe Ursuline Sisters are hosting “Come and Serve” from May 31- June 6, 2013 at Mount Saint Joseph in Maple Mount, Ky. The seven-day experience will be an opportunity for young women, ages 13-16 to explore and discover aspects of the life of an Ursuline Sister and share experiences of service with the sisters and on the Motherhouse campus. Potential service opportunities may include: Working with sisters in the Villa Working around campus Creating crafts to be used for the Mount Saint Joseph BBQ Picnic Location: Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph Motherhouse Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center 8001 Cummings Road, Maple Mount, KY 42356 (Located 12 miles west of Owensboro, Ky., on Highway 56) There is no cost for the week. Eucharistic AdorationJune 9, 2013

Where: Motherhouse ChapelThe Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph are asking the public to join them for Eucharistic Adoration on the second Sunday of every month to pray for vocations. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will occur from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Motherhouse Chapel in Maple Mount, 8001 Cummings Road. The adoration will conclude with evening prayer with the Ursuline Sisters. Those who cannot come to the Mount for Eucharistic Adoration are asked to pray during that time for new members to hear the call to the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph.

10:30 am to 12:30 pmTo help us celebrate more fully the Year of Faith, Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center is offering an opportunity to study the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults. Session begins at 10:30 a.m. and goes to 12:30 p.m. Cost is $10 which includes lunch. (If this is your first session, cost is $15 which includes book and lunch) Leaders are Sister Ann McGrew, OSU and Sister Marietta Wethington, OSU. Christian Leadership InstituteJune 23, 2013 - June 28, 2013

Where: Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat CenterCLI will help youth develop their leadership skills. Young people, ages 15-19 that are now or would like to be leaders in the parish or school, are encouraged to attend. (They should have completed their freshman year of high school or have just graduated from high school.) Each young person will learn Communication, Planning, Group Dynamics, and Decision-making skills, and then use these skills by taking responsibility for different aspects of the program during the week. Youth will also take part in the planning of prayer and liturgical celebrations. The cost of CLI is $275. Would you consider subsidizing part of the cost for several of your youth to attend? It would be a good investment for your parish or school. Please note that the registration deadline is May 25th. The cost of registrations postmarked after May 25 will increase to $300. Registration is limited to 40 participants.
