The Year of Consecrated Life

Pope Francis has called for 2015 to be the “Year of Consecrated Life.” This “year” actually lasts from the beginning of Advent on Nov. 29-30, 2014, until Feb. 2, 2016, the World Day of Consecrated Life. Twice a week during these 62 weeks, the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph will feature a different sister’s vocation story. Click here to learn more.

122 runners and walkers finished the 2015 Get Moving at the Mount 5K on May 30. Congratulations to all our participants, and thank you to everyone who ran, walked, cheered, and volunteered to make our 5K such a wonderful event! Stephany Nelson

Stephany Nelson, a first grade teacher at St. Joseph Catholic School in Bowling Green, is the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph's one and currently only postulant. Although Stephany was not born Catholic, God still guided her through adversity and various jobs to discover her vocation. Read Stephany Nelson's remarkable story here.

Spiritual Direction Training Program 2015-2017

Do you feel called to lead people in faith? Mount Saint Joseph offers its sixth two year spiritual direction training program from a Catholic perspective in the spirit of Saint Angela that begins this October. For more information, click here.

The Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph are asking the public to join them for Eucharistic Adoration on the second Sunday of every month to pray for vocations. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will occur from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Motherhouse Chapel in Maple Mount, 8001 Cummings Road. The adoration will conclude with evening prayer with the Ursuline Sisters. Those who cannot come to the Mount for Eucharistic Adoration are asked to pray during that time for new members to hear the call to the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph.
